This course has zero useless wrist grabs or fake/choreographed procedures. It has been built to give officers the best possible skill enhancement development in a half-day training, and everything they will do in class is safe, effective, tried, and true.
The "In-House" class is my bare-bones blitz POST course. They are minimum annual required skill development in defensive tactics, hours will be up to date, and they'll get an incredible workout. We will cover preemptive/defensive striking, takedown options for passive and active resistance, and ground control, emphasizing weapon retention and application.
To make the best use of time, I've broken this into skill sets for officers to apply based on their specific departments' "Use of Force" policies. We then practice high-probability scenarios with resistance so they can learn and demonstrate the proper level of force to defend themselves or control a person.
The difference between my "In-House" course and others is the extreme efficiency I've developed in teaching. I currently have more than 550 students with different skills and physical abilities: I have taught thousands of abbreviated classes, and that experience can't be replicated.
My life work is dedicated to martial arts and using it to increase the survivability of LEOs and law-abiding civilians. LEOs attending this course will be stronger, more confident, and more prepared to effectively handle resisting offenders.
